Chapter 13

Squeak took a shuddered breath and blew it into his mate’s chest. The reality of Tynan being his mate and what it meant barely registered inside his head, but it was his heart that glowed and blazed with heat that spread deep into his chest that told him this gorgeous, passionate, and caring man was his and only his. From the sounds of it, being a mate was a forever commitment.

Squeak smiled into Tynan’s brawny chest and inhaled the sexy scent. He couldn’t help it when the tip of his tongue licked the salty sweat that slicked his mate’s drool-worthy chest. He burrowed his face and rubbed against the flesh that kept his cock hard and leaking. The urge to feel his mate deep inside his body brought a low moan to the back of his throat. The shudder of the massive body that pressed him closer to the muscle and tissue that was his mate’s perfection had Squeak whimpering.

“Tynan, claim me again, make love to me, my mate.”

A shuddered explosion of breath had Tynan squeezing Squeak deeper into his embrace.

“Oh yeah, baby, I will, but first we need to talk,” Tynan explained and paused when he felt Squeak’s silken strands brush his chest when his head shook in protest.

“There’s more that you need to know, sweetheart. This is important, Squeak.” Tynan pulled away and brushed the hair that fell into his mate’s gorgeous eyes. Without a doubt, Tynan could spend the rest of his days falling into his mate’s liquid depths finding peace.

Sighing, Squeak nodded. His chest swelled from the intense emotion that was glowing from Tynan’s tender eyes. No one in his twenty-five years had ever looked at him like that. In an instant he felt cherished above all others and that brought tears to his expressive eyes.

“Baby?”

Shaking his head and brushing his fingertips over Tynan’s plush lips to stop, Squeak leaned forward and took his mate’s lips in a tender and sweet kiss. He pulled back, settled his head against Tynan’s chest, and smiled when he listened to his mate’s strong heartbeat.

“Tell me everything, Tynan. I need to know who I am and why I’m here on Terra.”

Tynan rubbed his face in his mate’s hair and took a deep breath. He nodded his head and pulled away slightly to stare into his mate’s eyes. After a moment, he nodded before leaning away and smiling when his little man tightened his hold on his back.

“It’s a long story, baby. We might as well get comfortable.” He tilted his head toward the tangled sheets and plush pillows that lay in disarray from their earlier lust fest.

“Fine.” Squeak sighed.

The two settled into the sheets and leaned into the pillows that surrounded their bodies. Squeak curled his smaller form into Tynan’s and marvelled that he fit perfectly into the curve of his lover’s body. They lay quiet listening to each other’s breathing and absorbing the heat that blanketed them in an embrace that only mates could ever experience. It was powerful, intense, and eternal.
